Established in the Family of Freemasonry
A fellowship of women and men devoted to friendship, charity, and truth.
Dallas Chapter No. 1 is a local body of the Order of the Eastern Star, gathering each month at the historic Dallas Lodge to share fellowship, support our community, and uphold the timeless values of our Order.
About the Order of the Eastern Star
The Order of the Eastern Star is the largest fraternal Order in the Family of Freemasonry that admits both women and men to membership. Founded in the mid-19th century by Dr. Rob Morris and given its formal ritual by Robert Macoy in 1866, the Order brings together members of diverse backgrounds in a spirit of friendship and fellowship.
We are committed to creating an accepting, welcoming environment built upon three foundational principles drawn from the Masonic tradition: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.
Members of the Order dedicate themselves to community service, charitable giving, and mutual aid. Each chapter reflects the character of its membership while sharing in the broader purpose of the Order.
Dallas Chapter No. 1 carries that tradition forward in our local community, gathering monthly for ritual, business, and the fellowship that has long been at the heart of the Eastern Star.
